Selling firearms
How to sell a firearm on Klondra
Klondra gives you the tools to sell lawfully and get paid directly. You stay the merchant of record and keep control of your business; Klondra coordinates the listing, the buyer, the receiving dealer, shipping, and the paperwork.
Step 1
Connect your payment account
Connect your own payment processor (or apply for a firearm-friendly merchant account through Klondra). Funds from sales settle directly to your bank — Klondra never holds your money.
Step 2
Set your jurisdictions & shipping
Configure where you sell and ship, local-pickup and FFL-required rules, adult-signature and carrier rules. You set this once; Klondra applies it to every listing, search, and ad automatically.
Step 3
Create your listing
Choose your transaction type — auction, Buy Now, or make-offer — and enter the firearm's manufacturer, caliber/gauge, action, barrel, capacity, and condition so buyers can find it by facet. Add photos and your terms.
Step 4
Certify & publish
Certify that you'll comply with applicable law, that transfer requirements vary by jurisdiction, and that you understand Klondra doesn't provide legal advice. Klondra validates your territory and compliance settings before publishing.
Step 5
When it sells, fulfill
Klondra generates your fulfillment packet — packing slip, invoice, shipping label, the buyer's selected receiving FFL, and required documentation. Print one package and ship to the buyer's dealer.
Step 6
Track to transfer
Upload or buy tracking; Klondra keeps you, the buyer, and the receiving FFL synchronized through the status timeline until the transfer is complete.
Fees
Klondra's fees (listing, final-value, subscriptions, advertising) are billed separately to your Klondra billing account — independent of your customers' payments. ACH is the preferred, no-fee method. You always receive your sale proceeds directly from your own payment processor.
