Klondra supports the lawful commerce of firearms and does not impose restrictions beyond those required by applicable law. We provide the tools and workflows to help buyers and sellers complete lawful transactions — we are not a party to any transaction.

Firearm transactions are subject to applicable federal, state, and local laws. Buyers and sellers are solely responsible for determining and complying with those laws. Klondra provides tools to assist lawful commerce but is not a party to the transaction and does not provide legal advice.
How an FFL transfer works
Win or buy. Complete checkout on the firearm listing.
Choose your receiving FFL. Select a licensed dealer near you from the FFL directory at checkout, or save a favorite for next time.
Seller ships to the FFL. Klondra generates the fulfillment packet and coordinates shipping and tracking to your dealer.
Transfer at the dealer. You complete the background check and paperwork with the receiving FFL and pick up your firearm.

Private sales
Where applicable law permits a private transfer without an FFL, Klondra allows the classified advertisement and direct communication between buyer and seller. Where applicable law requires an FFL transfer, Klondra guides both parties through the FFL workflow above. Klondra does not prohibit a lawful private sale merely because a different jurisdiction would require an FFL.

Klondra's role
Klondra is a technology platform — not the seller, the buyer, the transferring FFL, a firearms dealer, or a legal advisor. We assist lawful commerce and coordinate the workflow; users remain responsible for compliance.
