How to buy a firearm on Klondra
Buying a firearm on Klondra is a seamless, coordinated experience. You bid or buy on Klondra, choose a licensed dealer to receive the firearm, and complete the transfer in person — Klondra keeps every party in sync from purchase through pickup.
Step 1
Find a firearm
Browse Auctions, the Marketplace, or Classifieds. Filter by manufacturer, caliber/gauge, action, and condition. Save favorites to your watchlist and set saved searches.
Step 2
Review the listing
Check the specifications, seller rating, condition, shipping, and the legal notice. You confirm you'll comply with all applicable laws before you buy.
Step 3
Win or buy it
Place a proxy bid, use Buy Now, or make an offer. You pay through Klondra's checkout — funds go to the seller's connected payment processor, and settle to the seller's bank. Klondra is not the merchant of record.
Step 4
Choose your receiving FFL
At checkout, search the FFL directory and select a licensed dealer near you to receive the firearm. Save favorite dealers for next time. The firearm ships to your dealer, not your door.
Step 5
Seller ships to your FFL
Klondra generates the fulfillment packet and coordinates shipping and tracking. You, the seller, and your dealer all see the same status timeline.
Step 6
Complete the transfer
Your dealer receives the firearm and notifies you. You complete the background check and paperwork with the dealer and pick up your firearm. Transfer complete.
Private sales
Where applicable law permits a private transfer without an FFL, you can communicate directly with the seller through the transaction workspace. Where the law requires an FFL, Klondra guides both parties through the steps above. You are responsible for complying with the laws that apply to your jurisdiction.
